Indonesian LNG plant to increase output in 2016

According to Reuters, the President Director of the Indonesian Donggi-Senoro LNG plant, Gusrizal, has announced plans to increase the plant’s output in 2016. He claimed that the plant will aim to produce 36 LNG cargoes in 2016, compared to the 12 LNG cargoes produced in 2015. The first cargo was sold in August 2015.
Reuters reports that 23 of these cargoes are likely to be sold to long-term customers, whilst the other 13 are expected to be sold to spot buyers.
The plant has a capacity of 2 million tpy of LNG, and its shareholders include: Kogas; Mitsubishi Corp; Medco Energi Internasional; and Pertamina.
