NEB approves GNL Québec LNG export application

Canada’s National Energy Board (NEB) has issued GNL Québec Inc. a licence to export gas as LNG, subject to approval of the Governor-in-Council.
GNL Québec Inc. had applied for a 25-year licence with a maximum export quantity of 12.65 million tpy of LNG, with a maximum term quantity of 12.65 million t of LNG. The LNG would be exported from a liquefaction facility at the port of Saguenay in Québec, Canada.
