LNG Industry,
According to local report, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has asked the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for a 30-day extension to conduct a review of Dominion Resources Inc’s Cove Point LNG project in Maryland, USA.
Reuters reports that the EPA sent the request in a letter to FERC earlier this month, requesting additional time to “allow the agency to compile comments from its regional associate internal reviewers and the required need for EPA headquarters' review.”
